Los Naranjos , a modern 3 bedroom villa is set within a small residential complex of 20 houses surrounding a communal swimming pool, childrens pool and grassed sunbathing area. It is adjacent to orange and lemon groves in the midst of the Guardamar countryside, next to the natural park of Laguna la Mata and near to the salt lake itself.

The villa accommodates up to six people and is fully furnished throughout in matching pine, offering air conditioning/heating, a TV with Spanish and English channels, a DVD player and a CD player.

The upper sun terrace overlooks the communal swimming pool and provides a pleasant area to dine or sunbathe. The main bedroom with double bed is located on this level and enjoys its own en suite with bath/shower toilet, bidet and washbasin. The dressing area has mirror wardrobe doors.

Ground level has two twin bedded rooms and a bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is well stocked with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery.

Bedding, sheets and towels are provided but you are asked to bring your own towels for pool or beach use.

The villa has fully tiled floors throughout . The lounge/dining area offers ample space for eating or relaxing and French doors open onto a further sitting area which is moments away from the swimming pool. Your hire car can be parked in front of the villa .

Access to this gated community for residents only is by an electrically operated gate using the hand controller provided

Local market days are Wednesday morning in Guardamar and on Sundays there is a large market in the Campo de Guardamar which adjoins El Raso. Local shops include an English supermarket, there is a range of restaurants and cafes and there is a bank.

The location is ideal for a relaxing break and a 10 minutes drive will take you to Guardamar town and one of the longest “blue flag” beaches on the Costa Blanca with white sand beaches bordered by a large expanse of sand dunes covered with pines and eucalyptus.

Guardamar has a wonderful landscaped park and is situated on the Segura river. The history dates back to the Moors in the 10th century so you can see the remains such as the castle or you can enjoy the modern seasonal festivals with fireworks and traditional costumes.

Many sporting activities are catered for such as sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, the terrain is also ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding.

15 minutes drive to the south is the town of Torrevieja with all of its facilities. Golf courses are plentiful with Villamartin, Campoamor & Las Ramblas now being joined by the newer and closer courses of la Finca at Algorfa and La Marquesa at Quesada.

Within approximately a 1hour radius you can travel to Murcia (now hosting its own IKEA), Alicante, Benidorm and Cartagena
